In present days she has a job at another restaurant but when she's passed by with a promotion she quits at the spur of the moment. Just as she's wondering what to do next she gets a call from a lawyer that wants her to attend the reading of 'Mama's' will. It turns out that 'Mama' has left the restaurant to her even though they've lost touch. The only stipulation in the will is that she's to keep the present chef, Frank. The restaurant has not been doing so well lately and it turns out that Amy and Frank has very different opinions on how the restaurant and it's menu should be.
