But in sixth grade, their relationship became strained when Hangyou's grandfather, Kangji, died. One summer vacation, Hangyou and his classmates sneaked into an apartment building that was about to be demolished, said to be haunted from time to time. Both Hangyou and Xia Ya grew up there, so this place carries a lot of their memories. There, Hangyou ran into Xia Ya and was asked if he knew about the mysterious Nuobo. But suddenly, they are drawn into a mysterious phenomenon. When they regained consciousness, all they saw was a vast ocean. As the apartment complex is adrift in the mysterious sea, Hangyou and the others are on a boat as they unite and fight for survival. There are tears and arguments, and maybe even a reconciliation.
