Lastly, someone in the movie theater says he's just happy to have a night out, after being in quarantine for so long.In "Rich Old Stewie", which took place in the future year of 2070, an old man version of Stewie Griffin was famous for having created a cure for the coronavirus way back in 2020.

His death turned out to be only temporary as in the episode "Christmas Guy", Stewie goes back in time and saves him, effectively changing the future so that he never dies.

Also, Brian and Stewie travel to Vegas by teleportation, but instead the device malfunctions and ends up cloning them, where two pairs of Brian and Stewie both go on a road trip to Vegas, with each pair having different experiences, in another '"Road to..."' episode as part of the season finale ("Roads to Vegas").
During this season, Peter becomes friends with Ryan Reynolds (guest-voicing as himself), the Griffins win the lottery, Meg falls in love with an Amish boy as Peter goes to war with his family, Stewie starts driving Brian's car and accidentally crashes it, Meg dates Quagmire on her 18th birthday, Chris dates a girl who looks like Lois (voiced by Elliot Page), Quagmire asks Peter and Joe to help him kill his sister's (voiced by Kaitlin Olson) violently abusive boyfriend (voiced by Ralph Garman), Peter befriends a dolphin (voiced by Ricky Gervais[2]), Kevin Swanson (voiced by Scott Grimes) surprisingly returns to Quahog on Thanksgiving, Lois kidnaps Stewie's sick friend, Brian gets a blind girlfriend who hates dogs, James Woods makes a shocking return after being killed last season when Peter becomes an agent to Tom Tucker, Meg delivers a few home truths while scolding her family for all the abuse she personally suffered, Peter has another showdown with his mortal enemy, and Brian and Stewie travel back in time to the premiere Family Guy episode.
This season debuts with the episode "Seahorse Shell Party," the second installment of Crossover Hurricane Night, featuring Family Guy, along with two other Seth MacFarlane creations, The Cleveland Show and American Dad! , both affected by the same hurricane, Hurricane Flozel. Such recurring characters as Muriel Goldman and Diane Simmons are officially killed off the series in the season premiere, "And Then There Were Fewer".Following the death of Diane Simmons, her character is replaced with new character, Joyce Kinney in the episode "Excellence in Broadcasting".Horace is killed off the series in "Save the Clam".In the same episode, Jerome Cool J replaces him, becoming the new bartender at the Drunken Clam and introducing himself to the recurring cast.This season harbors the third and final installment of the Star Wars Franchise, this being the season finale, "It's a Trap!".
Family Guy season 7 was a very competent season. While there aren't many classic episodes, most of the episodes are more fun and entertaining. "Road To Germany" was the best picture of the season, but there was more than a few laughs throughout the season. The writers did take the time to come up with more story-driven episodes, and some of them worked really well.
The season started off with the eagerly anticipated homage to Star Wars titled "Blue Harvest," which featured stunning animation and some creative character design, including Stewie as Darth Vader, Quagmire as Threepio and Peter as Han Solo. While the choice of the controversial Herbert as Obi-Wan may have raised a few eyebrows, the episode was generally entertaining, but certainly wasn't as great as it could have been. Considering that the hype around the episode was so high, and the fact that it did have its own standalone DVD release, "Blue Harvest" was a missed opportunity that succeeded only because of the source material it drew from.Thankfully, the majority of the episodes that followed managed to thoroughly entertain, including the history-making two-part Stewie and Lois murder episodes aptly titled "Stewie Kills Lois" and "Lois Kills Stewie." Stewie fulfills his series-long fantasy of killing his mother, and does so with the type of callous violence that you'd expect for this implausible scenario. Despite the cop-out ending in the second part, the journey was worthwhile and the barrage of jokes was relentless.
This wildly irreverent, shrewdly crude animated sensation that has been confounding the PC police since the last millennium is back! Not even the insufferable humiliation of network cancellation was enough to keep "TV's most outrageous cartoon clan" (TV Guide) down. So raise your martini glasses in unison as Family Guy returns with a vengeance for 26 more hilarious episodes that find Peter and his old teacher Mr. Fargus switching bodies, Chris befriending a pimple, Lois gaining weight, Meg getting a makeover, and Brian and Stewie going on a European Road Show. Take a bow, Family Guy!
