I Just Killed My Dad, narrated by Netflix, is a first-of-its-kind documentary series that tells the incredible, never-before-told true story of the Templet family. Anthony Templet shot and killed his father when he was 17 and has never denied it. While the documentary's contributor said he was "a blank slate" without "empathy," why he did this is a complex question that has implications for far more than a family. This three-part documentary series explores Anthony's psychic journey ahead of the events of June 3, 2019 and his journey through the spiritual and emotional consequences. He told the 911 operator, according to Fox8Live: "He tried to attack me. Then, we had a fight. Then, I ran into his room, closed the door, got the gun. When I opened the door, he tried to (listen to) I don't know) and then I shot him." This is a very interesting premise. When the director tries to uncover the truth, it tortures the brain with many questions. From the sounds of it, this true crime series will make a mental judgment on why Anthony Templet did what he did, based on the evidence.
