As Toshi develops feelings for his sister Akiko, Steve must contend with his retaliation. Roger assists Stan in realizing his dream of opening a family-friendly restaurant, but Roger eventually assumes control of the venture and dismisses Stan, inspiring him to open a competing eatery. Francine decides to become a stand-up comedian and gets her own sitcom as all of her suppressed memories start to surface for her. Steve also finds Klaus a female friend, but he quickly gets bored with her. Every Thanksgiving, Stan brings his half-Native American brother over to show off his fortune; however, when they come over for the holiday, they find out he is a multi-millionaire.
