The production features true crime, real life robberies and lots of sainete as the implications of the case have been of interest since January 2006: the preparation and execution of a near-perfect plan; the hours-long blockade orders the police and media confusion; 23 hostage-taking; the quirks of criminals disguised with fake weapons; a sewer leak in the northern region; a hitherto unknown amount of loot and a criminal gang lost from a confession from the wife of one of the criminals.
