Convenience Story tells a story about Shinjiro Kato (Ryo Narita), an up-and-coming screenwriter in a severe downturn who has had some success in the past, but the film ideas he needs to submit, aren't making any progress, and he's working on a daily basis. Passed through depression and pain. One thing leads to another when he goes to buy "Dogman" food for his beloved dog Cerberus, he stumbles upon a convenience store "Ideal Supermarket" where he can find everything his heart desires . There, he meets a mysterious married woman named Keiko, whose creativity re-emerges, and the story of the adventure in another world begins.
